Teatro all’improvviso on tour in Japan

Teatro all’improvviso is spending its summer  2017 in a long tour in Japan: from June to August, Dario Moretti and Saya Namikawa are protagonist of an important creative residence and of a tour that will take them to one of the most outstanding festival in the country.

For three weeks, the artists of Teatro all’improvviso have worked at the Kinosaki International Art Center with Japanese musicians  Makoto Nomura and Kumiko Yabu, who contributed to create with the company the special project “Enchanted towns” for Segni New Generations Festival last year. This year, the artists have developed the project, creating a new performance based on musical improvisation and live painting, called “A Beautiful Town”.

The show had its debut in Izushi, Toyooka on July 15th, and then it was performed in other Japanes towns, with great success.

After this important experience, the company is leaving on tour, to the  Iida Puppet Festa: from July 2 to 5, “Scherzo with Three Hands” will be performed, after hundreds of performances all around the world.
